We have been delighted to see so much creativity going on in the homes of BBPS! Thank you all for sharing your work with us. This week we’re including artworks from Preps and Grade 5. They include photography, collage, and drawings from zooooooom sessions. There were so many to choose from, and only a limited amount of space so please know we’re proud of you ALL! –Mrs P & Mrs H

Check out our new 5R’s postcards! Our artists: Jhana, Georgina & Lauren. B created these designs at home, focusing on the theme of what it means to be part of BBPS here in Bayside. The postcards will be mailed out to our students who are displaying our core values: Relationships, Respect, Resilience, Responsibility & Reflection. A big THANK YOU to the girls, and also Mr Porter (Patrick) who has formatted & designed the text/layouts ready to be printed!

We had a Visual Art live lesson this week with the Grade 3-6s and what a fabulous turn out it was.

We firstly looked at a short video of Graffiti 3D Anamorphic Street Art Illusions by Odeith.

He is a street artist that turns giant blocks of cement into incredible 3D art and is a master of illusion with a few cans of spray paint.

We also did a drawing tutorial on drawing eyes which the kids really enjoyed. Their final products that they held up and shared were fantastic!
