Hello Student and Parents,

Thank you to all the students who signed up for the Australian Maths Trust Competition all the way back in Term 2. 

Unfortunately due to Covid-19 and the restrictions on Metro Melbourne, the Australian Maths Competition was unable to be run at any schools undertaking Remote/Home Learning in Term 3. For the students that have already registered, The AMT (Australian Maths Trust) will run an unofficial, unsupervised and non-competition round of the competition for affected students early in Term 4. 

Students sitting this non-competition round will receive a PDF certificate based on a raw score only and will not be eligible for medals and prizes.

We will be completing it in Week 2, Term 4. I will mail each student further information about the date, requirements and how to sit the competition in the home environment. 

The AMT has acknowledged that some students may be very disappointed to not be eligible for medals and prizes. The AMT is discussing alternative arrangements and once they decide what is possible, they will be in touch.
