Best Start and Parent Pack Information

Best Start Kindergarten is an assessment held in all public schools in the first few weeks of Kindergarten. Each child will sit one on one with a teacher to answer the questions. This test allows teachers to gain an understanding of each child's literacy and numeracy knowledge.

At Fairvale, we will conduct our best start testing during Weeks 2 and 3 of school with the students.
