Will my child get homework?
Kindergarten start formal homework in Term 3. During Term 1 and Term 2 students will be given sight words to practice at home along with Home Readers. These are books that students can read independently or with a small amount of support from an adult or older sibling.
How do I contact the teacher?
Your children's teacher is always happy to communicate with you. You can contact the school office on 9724 3470 to organise a meeting with the teacher. Each teacher will also create a Seesaw account, here they will keep you updated with events happening and can answer questions that you have.
How will my child get notes?
Your students classroom teacher will hand out all notes to students, so please check your child's bag every day. Notes are also located outside the front office and on the school app.
Where do I return notes?
All notes should be returned with the students name and class to the front office. Please also ensure that you have signed all notes.

What should I be doing to prepare my child for school?
Encourage your child to practice writing their name, the alphabet and numbers to 10. Reading books with your child will also support their love for reading and talking about books.
