A reminder about key dates for the Cross Country Season

The Cross Country season is upon us and training for all students kicked off this week.  We recommend that all students prepare adequately for the Cross Country Carnival.  Like all house carnivals, participation is compulsory so we strongly encourage all students to come along to training. Even though the weather may be unappealing, there are benefits for your all round well-being when you develop and maintain your fitness.  The schedule is outlined below.

What to bring

  • With the change in weather, all students must come to training wearing tracksuit pants and a rugby jumper/jacket. Once you have warmed up, you can remove your track pants and jumper/jacket and run in shorts or tights.
  • Please wear your house polo shirt to run in
  • You will need to bring a water bottle and some breakfast to have when you return to school.
  • Please bring a towel in case it rains.
  • If you require a EPIPEN, please ensure that you have it with you at all times.
  • Morning sessions will commence at 7.15am. You are required to be there ready to start on time.
  • There will be a practice run of the course at Jells Park on Tuesday 6th August after school. There will be no morning session on this day.
  • All communication will be sent via email
