Chain Reactions Families Competition

Looking for something fun and challenging to do over the holidays?

The Digital Technologies Hub (Education Services Australia) is running a competition for families over the school holiday break. They are challenging families to come up with their own version of a Rube Goldberg machine (think, the Mouse Trap game).

You have to submit a video of your machine for a chance to win some great prizes such as a $500 JB Hi-Fi gift voucher or one of ten Lego Chain Reactions books!  Your machine will need at least five different steps that activate a chain reaction. Use items that you have at home such as dominoes, toys, marbles, recycled materials, string and construction blocks.

The competition starts on 9 December 2019 with entries closing at 5pm on 31 January 2020.

You can find more information on the Digital Technologies Hub Chain Reactions Holiday Competition page.
