CLASS OF 2019 - YEAR 6 STUDENTS & GRADUATION

This group of young adults have successfully completed their primary education and have taken their responsibilities as senior students to another level this year.  Their enthusiasm, eagerness and confidence have been instrumental to their growth during their time at school, in particular this year.  This was evident in the way they took on their individual leadership roles with great pride.  They have been fine examples of how students come together and keep the spirit of St Anthony’s school alive and active.  As they start their new pathway in secondary college, I hope that their time at St Anthony’s School is a memorable one and held with great pride.

Good Luck to the Class of 2019.

CHRISTMAS NATIVITY PLAY AND CAROLS EVENING

What a beautiful night when our community gathered together with reverence and collegiality!  Thank you to the families who attended Tuesday night to watch and hear the children bring message of Christmas into our busy lives. The Foundation children presented the Nativity Story as the rest of the children sang the traditional Christmas Carols alongside them.  The children then all finished the evening with singing a series of Christmas songs.

Congratulations to the Christmas Raffle winners who took home a selection of fantastic hampers.  Thank you to our wonderful PFA 2018/19 Co Presidents, Jane and Emily, who completed their last task of their term putting together the beautiful hampers, and to the fabulous parents for your donations.

Jane and Emily proudly handed over a sensational total of $35,000.00 to the school.  We thank them and the PFA for their fundraising efforts throughout the two years. Their passion and efforts are greatly appreciated, and the school is grateful for the time, passion and energy they brought the PFA Co-Presidents.

END OF YEAR MASS & SPECIAL LITURGY FOR YEAR 6

As part of the End of the Year Thanksgiving Mass families are invited to attend Mass on Friday 13 December at 12.00pm for our final Mass for the year as we celebrate the achievements made this year and farewell all students, staff and families who will be leaving.

This will be followed by the tradition of Passing of the Light from Year 6 to Year 5 students where the leadership roles will be passed from the current leaders to 2020 leaders so that the responsibilities can be continued in our school.
