Non-uniform confiscated items

Students at Staughton College are required to wear the correct uniform while at school. The uniform dress code reinforces our students’ pride in their own appearance and helps students see themselves as a part of the broader school community. By wearing the correct school uniform, students can develop pride in their role as representatives of the school.

When a student is wearing a non-uniform item, such as a hoodie or a beanie, it will be confiscated by staff. Students can then collect these confiscated items from their coordinator at the end of the school day.

Parents/Carers will be notified via Xuno when their child has a non-uniform item confiscated. To support the school, parents/carers should have a conversation with their child and reinforce the importance of following the uniform dress code.

Upon repeated confiscations, the Student Operations Team will contact parents/carers to discuss school uniform expectations and possible solutions to uniform-related issues. We can achieve the best results when we work together and reinforce the message at school and at home.
