Book Fair –Report

This week students, families and staff were able to explore the wonderful world of books and imagination at the long awaited return of our annual Book Fair!

Our annual staff run book fair has been on hiatus during the Covid years, so this year’s festival of shiny new books has had an extra air of excitement.  What a joy it has been to see our community back in our newly refurbished library and passionately choosing books.

Thanks to our generous community we have sold well over $2500.00 worth of books (as of Wednesday 23/11/22).  Some beautiful donations have been gratefully received.

The fundraising goes towards books for 2023 and are selected to reflect student voice, special interests and support the curriculum. All books will have a sticker on the front of them stating that they were purchased with funds from the fair.

We will let you know how much was raised and who won our lucky door prize next week!

Thank you to our lovely sales assistants; Ruth Pascoe, Averil Gramaconi, Alison Coutts, Jo Manning, Sophie Strang and Benita Danckert.

Thank you and Happiest of reading to all...

Sophie
