Level 5/6

Level 5 and 6 News

Throughout the past few weeks our Level 5 and 6 students have been applying their wonderful writing skills to plan, draft, edit and publish their Level 5 Leadership application letters for 2023 along with the Level 6 Legacy letters for our graduating class. It has been wonderful to see the hard work from throughout the year being applied during these sessions and to see the Level 6 students take on the role of mentor for our Level 5 students by providing advise and offering suggestions for improvement and development. We have included a small sample of the many wonderful letters to share with our community and would like to offer our congratulations to our students for the amazing work they have completed. Well done, Level 5 and 6!

In keeping with the theme of leadership, our student leaders have been busy assisting the Foundation teachers with their transition sessions for the incoming 2023 Foundation students and we are extremely proud of the way they have been so supportive of the newest members of our community. Keep up the fabulous work!

During Term 3, the Level 5 and 6 Inquiry focus was ‘Market Mayhem’, where students developed their entrepreneur skills in order to create a stall for the Rangeview Fair. Each student chose and developed their own business ready to pitch to the ‘Shark Tank’. It was fabulous to see many of our students make their business debut at the recent Rangeview Fair where they held their stalls and were able to sell their products, make a small profit and make a wonderful contribution to our whole school event. Congratulations to all involved, what a wonderful achievement.
