Level 2
The Level 2 students have been continuing to do amazing work on their portfolio tasks. They have been learning how to write a persuasive piece of writing. This week students used the knowledge they have learnt during our ‘Under the Sea’ Inquiry unit to write a persuasive piece about which animal they think is the best sea animal.
We have also continued enjoy our soccer clinic. Students have continued to work on the skills of trapping, kicking and controlling the ball. It’s great to see everyone giving it a go and trying their best.
Level 2 students also showed great sportsmanship during the Foundation - Level 2 Athletics Carnival. It was fantastic to see everyone dressed up and supporting their house! The day was a huge success and the egg toss was a great end to the day.
Level 2 also participated in the Remembrance Day activities on Friday. Some students were also able to participate in a community-based project with The Rotary Club of Melbourne to create a display commemorating the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the Mitcham Memorial.
