Running Club
This morning, the Sacred Heart Running Club was finally able to commence! It was wonderful to see students participating and enjoying the benefits. The Sacred Heart Running Club aims to develop coordination, improve overall fitness, help improve attention levels during the school day and increase friendships and camaraderie in a multi-age setting. Running Club is open to all Year 3-6 students and operates Friday mornings (Term 1 and 4) between 7.45 - 8.30am with Mr O'Shea and Mr Millane.
Remembrance Day
Next Friday 11 November, our Year 5 students will lead us in a Remembrance Day commemoration at the school's cenotaph located near the oval. As part of the ceremony, a communal wreath will be placed at our cenotaph and the class captains will be asked to place a bunch of rosemary next to the wreath. We will all observe one minute's silence at 11am in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
Assemblies
Term 4 Assemblies will be held on Fridays at 2.30pm in the MPR. Parents are invited to attend. The following dates indicate which class/year level will be presenting Spotlight on Learning:
