Grade 1/2 News

Over the last two weeks, the Grade 1/2 students have had the opportunity to share their classrooms with the Foundation children during two transition mornings.

 This has been such a great opportunity for the Foundation students to get to know the 1/2 staff and the new area. It was fantastic to see the Grade 1/2 students demonstrating leadership and modelling expectations to their younger peers.

The Grade 1/2 students love learning through explorations: 

It’s quicker counting by 10s!  What is the capacity of our lunchboxes? We can use the letter y to make the sound ee at the end of words. We have had a busy week of learning!

The weather may not have been our friend during Remembrance Day, however the Grade 1/2 students showed such respect and reverence during our Remembrance liturgy, last Friday.
