Fairy Tale Fiasco! 

Fairy tale Land is in a muddle and there is a whole lot of mixed up trouble in theFAIRY TALE FIASCO! Incursion. The Foundation students participated in an incursion where they creatively explored the structure of narratives.

Highbury Park Excursion

The Foundation students attended an excursion to Highbury Park as part of our Inquiry Investigation topic, 'I am Aware'. The students met the local council and were able to ask questions all about how the community parks in our area are cared for. 

I enjoyed planting an Australian Native plant. - Ethan

I enjoyed playing on a different playground. - Candice

I like looking at the tractor and seeing what it does. - Mila

I liked exploring the different bugs in the park. - Ryland

Burwood One Excursion

As part of the Inquiry Investigations topic 'I'm an Entrepreneur', students walked from school to Burwood One. They investigated how different businesses operate and the importance of currency. 

I enjoyed going to the shops and exploring. - Jasper

I liked asking questions about the shops I didn't know about. - Arvin

My favourite part was exploring Boost Juice. - Alexander  

100 days of Foundation!

Foundation students celebrated their 100th day of school!

The Foundation teachers and students all dressed up as a 100 year old person to celebrate this special day. The students also had an enjoyable day doing activities all related to the number '100'.

Melbourne Museum Excursion 

Students in Foundation attend an excursion at the Melbourne Museum. The students investigated the history which has shaped our world and Indigenous culture as part of our Inquiry Investigation unit “I am a Historian”. 

I enjoyed exploring the Old Melbourne section of the Melbourne Museum. - Nolan

My favourite part was going onto the jungle. - Olivia 

Scienceworks Excursion 

Students in Foundation attended an excursion at Scienceworks. The students had the opportunity to put together everything they have learned during the Term 4, Inquiry Investigations topic, "I am an Engineer", into practice. They followed the engineering design process to solve various problems.
