National Reconciliation Week 2022

For National Reconciliation Week this year we organised a poster colouring in competition with winners from junior, middle and upper primary. This year’s Reconciliation theme was, “Be Brave. Make Change”. National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

We all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation, and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and futures.

Further information about National Reconciliation week and how we can take the steps to achieve reconciliation can be found here: https://www.reconciliation.org.au/reconciliation-action-plans/start-your-rap/

Here is all the art work on display with our AEIO Anika Gosling.
