Year 7 Art

Paul Klee

Paul Klee was a Swiss-born German artist who was influenced by movements in art that included expressionism, cubism, and surrealism. Klee explored colour theory and his work was childlike and inspired by music.

In his painting Castle and Sun, 1928, he used triangles and rectangles to create an abstract cityscape.

The Year 7 Art class examined the work of Paul Klee then created their own paintings and drawings of cityscapes.
