St Mary’s Parish Prayer
God our Father, as we thank you for the blessings, we ask you to bless this Parish of yours, so that we may love you more.
Encircle our families with your loving care.
Help parents to be good examples to their
children and our youth to grow in strength as good Christians.
To the sick grant health, to the aged bring serenity and to those in sorrow, joy.
May we grow stronger in faith and may
our love for one another become deeper
in our daily living.
We make this through the intercession of our Mother Mary. Amen

St Mary's Bingo
Bingo Has been running for some 40 years at St. Mary’s. It is run on a Saturday night in the Marian Centre. Over the years, it has raised a lot of money for the Parish and school., although with COVID restrictions, it has been stop start season.
On a usual year, the school has received $12,000 per year – to use for various projects around the school – play ground equipment upgrade. Help with the purchase of land in Hall Street, to name a few.
The Parish has received $15,000 to $20,000 per year – again maintaining and supporting the Church and Parish.
We need 8 to 10 people each Saturday night to help run the program. We run an 8 week roster, with the commitment not hard or long each night.
Jobs would include -
Helping with canteen - (Small) 2 hours.
Selling tickets 2 hours,
Floor walking – while games are being played – 2 to 3 hours and calling support from Auto caller set up on computer 3 hours.
If you can help with some time or part of the time – particularly with canteen or selling tickets - that would help the people that are coming every week.
