Principal's News

Mr Rodrigues

Dear Families,

As we come to the end of our third full week, it is pleasing to see how quickly our children have adapted to new classes, new teachers and making new friends. It is not always easy for many children managing this change but as we know, life for all of us is full of change and new challenges.  It would be great to speak to your children about how they are feeling in their new classes and to keep encouraging them to be positive and accept all the challenges this brings.

Trinity School Vision

'Trinity Primary School is a welcoming catholic school that, fosters diversity and promotes innovative, high quality learning. We ensure that every student strives for excellence and engages in our global society.'

Every school and most organizations have their own Vision Statements which give direction and purpose to all they do. At Trinity our Vision Statement, which I have included above, has successfully guided us for a number of years now.  This year, however, as part of our ongoing school improvement focus, we will be reviewing our Vision and Mission statements to ensure they still fully reflect our beliefs about what we want our school to be. Of course an essential part of this is to hear from our parents and children to ensure all our stakeholders have input and ownership of our Vision.

Over the coming months we will be using Google Forms and calling for parents to be involved in discussions, to gather input for our revised Vision Statement.

Prep Playdate

One of the highlights of last year was our Prep Playdate afternoon which were fortunate to be able to have early in the year before the lockdown restrictions. We are once again excited that we will be able to have all our new Prep Families attend this special afternoon. We will send home the flyer I have attached here also with all of our Prep children next week so that you can RSVP and lock in the date.

Welcome Morning Tea

        for our volunteer parents

Do you currently volunteer or would like to volunteer during the year in our wonderful school community? Please join us for a welcome morning tea to find out  about the many different ways you can contribute this year. A very large portion of our parents and carers work and have other commitments however any small amount of assistance during the year is so  greatly appreciated. Together we can achieve great things for our school and the students.

Join us for a coffee, morning tea and a chat. Everyone is welcome!

Prep 2023 Enrolments & Marketing

Over the next few months we will be busy meeting with new families enquiring about school for their children in 2023. Many of our existing families may also have children in Kindergarten which is where we would love our Trinity message spread.

"Every day is Open Day at Trinity and we would love prospective parents to come and see for themselves what makes our school the perfect choice for their children."
