All our up-to-date school policies can be found on our website https://www.brightonbeachps.vic.edu.au/infodesk. Throughout the year, we share specific whole school policies with you via the newsletter as part of our annual communication cycle, and to inform you when changes have been made or policies reviewed, as per DET and VRQA requirements.

At Brighton Beach PS we are committed to creating and maintaining a child safe environment, where children and young people feel safe, in keeping with the Child Safe Standards. All Victorian schools must have a number of policies and procedures in place. The three policies attached outline the responsibilities of school staff in relation to Child Safety. All teachers participated in a professional development session unpacking these policies, as part of our three curriculum days that began our year.

Child Safety Policy outlines our commitment to the Child Safe Standards.

Duty of Care Policy explains the care obligations all staff have to our students and school community members.

Child Safety Responding and Reporting Policy details the legal responsibilities members of our community have in relation to child safety.
