Swimming Carnivals

Thanks to all the students who participated in the swimming carnivals last week. In spite of the carnival not being able to host parents it was a wonderful day had by staff and students.

 

Students can expect to receive their notes for the HRIS competition over the next week.

Tennis

Tennis Tuition is available on site at Calrossy on the Brisbane St campus. Mr Ralph Lawrence is a highly experienced Tennis coach with over 30 years experience and is the Head Coach and Program Coordinator. Both individual and group tuition is available. Touch Football

Touch Football registration information and links are available on the Primary and Secondary pages of The Hub. As registrations come through teams will be filled. Please notify sport@calrossy.nsw.edu.au if you wish to play but have not registered.

 

Basketball

Basketball registration is available on The Hub, and via Qkr!. If you haven’t yet registered, follow the links to get registered before the competition start date.

 

Target Shooting

Interest in Target Shooting high school) has been overwhelming. Students who have not yet expressed interest will be placed on a waiting list for later in the year. Updates will be placed in ‘News’ on the Target Shooting page of The Hub.

 

Netball

Netball trials will take place next week. Notices will go out with times and locations shortly.

 

Identified Athletes Program

After receiving a number of applications, Calrossy is excited to accept its first cohort into the 2022 IAP. There are spots available, so get on to the IAP page to make an application with your student.

 

The Program is aimed at assisting Calrossy student athletes to achieve to their full potential in their chosen sport. The program involves testing, data analysis, injury prevention, strength and conditioning, nutritional advice, special guests, and ongoing evaluation. Uniform Return

We are desperate for students to return their uniforms, jerseys, and any other items of team uniforms that have not been returned. If parents and student could be please prioritise the return of uniforms we would be extremely grateful.

 

After a couple of difficult years, Calrossy Sport is back in 2022. We’re excited for the return of our regular sports program, our representative sport program, and some exciting new opportunities for students this year.

 

The Hub will the location for specific sports information, including draws, registration details, and team lists.
