Go back to Profile menu, scroll down to ‘School Activities’ and complete all five permissions for each student as follows:

  1. School Internet Protocol
  2. Head Lice Checks
  3. Publicity Permission
  4. Local Excursion Permission

Student Medical updates and Student Permissions are required at the start of each school year.  Thanking you for your assistance.

LEARNING DIVERSITY

Last week we held many Program Support Meetings (PSGs). I would like to acknowledge the work of all our teachers and Learning Support Officers (LSOs).

We are so lucky to have caring and dedicated staff in our school supporting children with diverse learning needs.

Thank you to the parents and carers who gave up their time to attend meetings. Your commitment to your child's learning is very much appreciated. To those parents who attended meetings via Google meet, please check your emails regarding follow up actions.

I would like to extend a very Merry Christmas to all of our Sacred Heart families. I look forward to seeing you all again in 2022!

YEAR 2 EXCURSION - WERRIBEE

On  Tuesday 30 November all the Year 2's went on an excursion to the Werribee Open Range Zoo. We saw lots of amazing African animals like lions, cheetahs, hippos and wild dogs. We participated in traditional African activities like singing, weaving, crushing corn to make flour and carrying bowls of water on our heads. It was tricky and a lot of fun!

We also went on a Safari bus tour and saw rhinos, bison, antelopes and giraffes. One giraffe got so close to the bus it nearly stuck its head in the window.

We had a great day and learnt lots.

WE ARE SUNSMART

When it comes to using sun protection, temperature isn't a good guide. You can’t see or feel UV but UV is the part of the sun that can damage skin and eyes and lead to skin cancer. SunSmart advises that Victoria’s UV levels start to rise from mid-August.

Please remind your child to pack their hat . For SunSmart information visit https://www.sunsmart.com.au/communities/parents

2022 - UNIFORM SHOP WILL BE OPEN ON FRIDAY 28 JANUARY

Due to government restrictions our Uniform shop can only operate on an appointment basis.  You can call our office at anytime to schedule an appointment on a Friday during Uniform shop hours. If you are unable to attend on Uniform day, Richelle will still be available to take your orders by phoning on a Friday during our uniform shop hours which are 10am - 12noon.  From there you will place your order and payment will be made at that time. All orders will be packed and sent home each Friday with your child.

Alternatively, you can download the order form from our website or your PAM account via ‘knowledge bank’.  Complete the form and send it with the correct money with your child or phone for payment on Friday.

If sizing is an issue, you are able to send clothing back (still with tags) and it will be swapped over for you...children are unable to be called up to office

to be sized for clothing anymore.    We thank you for your cooperation.
