ONLINE LEARNING INFORMATION

Online Text Books

Many subjects are using online texts this year.  The big advantage online texts have is that any new information can be added directly, we can have links to videos and other live information, plus students only need to carry their netbook/laptop to have everything at their finger tips at all times.

Edrolo

Almost all subjects at VCE have resources available through Edrolo, which is paid for by the school; at no cost to families.  On top of this, some senior science and humanities subjects are also using an online Edrolo text, which does have a cost.  These must be paid for via the Edrolo portal ASAP, or students will lose access to the text.

Activate Edrolo accounts at www.edrolo.com.au/activate/pqu-hyw

Go to thePayment Portal Demo video for a quick guide on how to pay for Edrolo using the Payment Portal.

Edrolo are also trialling a year 7 science resource, which the school is using.  Your year 7 science teacher will provide more information.

Education Perfect

Year 7-9 science and year 7 and 8 Japanese are using Education Perfect.  Access to science is licenced by the Education Department.  For Japanese, parents need to pay at https://help.educationperfect.com/article/742-how-do-i-pay-for-a-subscription-through-the-student-zone

Humanities - Oxford o-Book

In junior humanities, we are using the Oxford Humanities Victorian Curriculum student o-Book pro. There is a different version for years 7, 8 and 9.  If you have not yet done so, please contact Collins Booksellers in Langtree Mall to purchase your licence code.
