Physical Education Classes

Welcome back all students to the 2022 school year.

A reminder to all students for Term 1, all Physical Education Classes are water-based for the first eight weeks of this term. Therefore, students are reminded to please bring the following with them on PE days:

  1. John XXIII Bathers
  2. John XXIII Rashie. If you have not purchased a College Rashie, please ensure you bring a different rashie until you have the College uniform. Students will not be permitted in the pool without a rashie on.
  3. Towel and goggles
  4. A water bottle to all PE lessons

All students will have access to sunscreen during the day, however, it is recommended that all students apply sunscreen before school.

Wishing everyone a fantastic year in all things movement and health.

Drones & Dungeons

Drone Club will start up again this year after the Year 7 camp to allow everyone to settle back into the normal rhythm of College life. No experience is necessary to join and everyone is welcome to give it a go. We will fly drones (provided by the College) on Thursday afternoons from 3:20 to 4:40pm, starting in Week 5.

Likewise, the Dungeons & Dragons Club will also begin in Week 5. Any student who would like to run a campaign should see Mr Connellan as soon as possible. The College has purchased a number of different modules that the student Dungeon Masters can borrow to serve as the basis of their adventures. We will have a meeting in Week 4 to sign up students into the different campaigns that have been organised prior.

Students are asked to please arrive in the pavilion at the start of their trial dressed ready in PE uniform. All students will register their name at the trail.
