2018 International Hospital Federation Awards

IHF Awards entry submissions close on 13 April

Less than a month to go to submit an entry to the 2018 International Hospital Federation Awards

 

Hospitals and healthcare organizations that have outstanding innovations, excellent programs, achievements and best practices in quality and patient safety, corporate social responsibility, service delivery, healthcare leadership and management practices can enter for a chance to be internationally recognized in the International Hospital Federation Awards.

 

Winners will be honored at the special Awards Ceremony which will take place during the 42nd IHF World Hospital Congress which will be held on 10-12 October in Brisbane, Australia. The Congress is expected to be attended by about 2,000 healthcare professionals from across the world.

 

Entries can be submitted in the following categories:

 

IHF/Dr Kwang Tae Kim Grand Award

  • recognizes excellence and achievements at health system or facility level in multiple areas;
  • open only to IHF Full and Associate Members – to check if your organization is a member, click here

IHF/EOH Excellence Award for Leadership and Management in Healthcare

Honors excellence and outstanding achievements, among others, in:

  • Enhancing governance, leadership, management policies and practices;
  • Creating and fostering a new culture of service that motivate staff to excel;
  • Managing finances and resources effectively;
  • Achieving major breakthrough in productivity improvements or innovations in healthcare delivery or process management.

 

Excellence Award for Quality & Safety and Patient-centered Care

Honors excellence and outstanding achievements, among others, in:

  • Promoting quality and safety;
  • Enhancing patient education, engagement and empowerment;
  • Promoting ethical approaches and evidence-based practices.

 

IHF/Bionexo Excellence Award for Corporate Social Responsibility

Honors excellence and outstanding achievements, among others, in:

  • Providing quality healthcare services at affordable costs;
  • Promoting volunteer contribution to community care;
  • Promoting sustainable environment, energy and green initiatives;
  • Reducing inequalities in healthcare service delivery to the community;
  • Advancing healthcare for emerging and developing nations.

 

Winning an IHF Award is a prestigious accolade in the healthcare industry and all public and private healthcare service providers are encouraged to join.
