Great Victorian Bike Ride 2019

The Great Victorian Bike Ride is considered Australia’s biggest and most iconic riding experience and it’s on again for 2019! This event is an opportunity for participants to work together as part of the Beaumaris Secondary College GVBR Team and be taken outside their comfort zone to demonstrate their determination and persistence, as they are tested both mentally and physically. This rolling bike festival pedals to a new town each day, setting up camp where riders can soak up an incredible atmosphere.

For those interested in the 2019 Great Victorian Bike Ride (GVBR) an information evening will be held on Thursday May 16 at 6pm in the Bob Whiteway Resource Centre.

Beaumaris Secondary College will participate in the 5-day event, travelling through some of the most picturesque pockets of Victoria from Port Fairy to Torquay, covering approximately 305km.
