Grandparent’s Morning and Open Afternoon

Tomorrow morning from 9 – 10.30 am, Year 4 students have invited their grandparent(s) to view our morning session. This will be taking place at the Main Campus as well as the Carlsruhe Campus.

In the afternoon, students will be showcasing their Term 3 Project as well as a few pieces of work they are proud of.

This will take place between 1:45 pm and 2:20 for the Carlsruhe Campus students and 2:00 - 2:45 for the Main Campus.  If grandparents would like to come to the project sharing session instead of the morning, that is perfectly fine.

Day for Daniel

Tomorrow all students are invited to wear an item of red clothing for the National Day of Action for Child Safety, held on the last Friday in October: Day for Daniel. We are not asking for a donation to participate in this event but will be doing activities throughout the day focusing on child safety.

Cricket

On November 15th, selected students will be participating in the Woolworth Blast Cricket Cup. The students have been practicing the rules of this modified format of cricket and have seen huge improvements in their bowling and batting skills.

A permission form will be sent via Compass to the families of those participating.

Mr Spilsted is also in need of a parent helper on the day, if any parents are keen to help out with a team then please send him an email.

Thursday Activities

Term 4 Thursday Activities have commenced today. The students will be taking part in 6 different activities including: cricket, woodwork, cooking, bracelet making, gardening and tent building.

Thank you to all the parent helpers who braved the hot weather to help out today. If you are interested in helping on a Thursday afternoon, please contact Mr. Condon or Mr. Spilsted as well as provide a copy of your current Working with Children Check to office staff.

New Sprinkler System

A big thank you to Mr. John Hemiak for plumbing in our new sprinkler system. The garden will be very thankful for the much needed drink over the coming hot days.
