WPS Gardening Group

The sun encouraged a busy afternoon in the garden this Monday:

  • Lunchtime garden club helped weed, water and plant Spring crops.
  • More old woody carrots were pulling up and sent on the bus to Carlsruhe for the guinea pigs to feast on.
  • CU1 students had fun creating trellises for the peas and beans they planted.
  • Mrs Spiers brought her class to the garden to listen to the sounds of nature.
  • Volunteer parent Mel, and some keen students finished moving gravel into the outdoor classroom. Fabulous effort Mel!

As Mel and I say – who would go to the gym when you can go to the garden? The garden’s free, a lot more fun and exponentially more rewarding!
