Year 7 & 8 E-School

Mordialloc Beach Clean-Up

On Tuesday, 15 March, the Year 7 & 8 E-School class participated in a beach clean-up at Mordialloc Beach. This was planned as a service project for our community and to promote our stewardship of God’s creation. The students were also gathering data to better understand the sources of, and solutions for, the rubbish which accumulates on our beaches. As part of E-School, students have been exploring project planning, including risk management and organisation. This excursion was the outcome of that work.

While the Year 7s and 8s were collecting rubbish, our VCAL students were preparing a BBQ to finish our afternoon with a sausage sizzle. Altogether it was a time of service, stewardship, sunshine and snacks. Thanks to all those who participated.
