HCC Shine Program

'When does a Flaff times a Swiff equal a Gropityflarm? When Allen Dickson, a guest enrichment teacher and consultant, is enriching our Maths during Shine classes of course! No, it’s not the latest Dr Seuss story! Mr Dickson is just passionate about enrichment and extension. During his recent visit, Mr Dickson used his program ‘Oddition’, along with some amazing vocabulary, to encourage the students to use operations to discover a different level of ‘number sense’. The students were engaged from Dink to Wuffitydink and back again! They can’t wait for the next Shine class in Week 10.'
