Welcome to 2022, for a new start to onsite learning.

I would like to start by introducing the new Hakea Student Leadership Team.

Congratulations Julie C and Mohammad A as our new House captions, both keen and eager to lead the Hakea Students throughout the year.

I would also like to congratulate Anna O as SRC President, and Spencer I as School Captain. We have a great team of core leaders and are looking forward to working with our Year 11 leadership group as part of this.

It was also great to see so many families at the Year 7 afternoon, and we hope to talk with many more families soon.

Overall, we have had a very settled start to the year, building our focus with students and teachers, of universal high expectations and individual support.
