Student Wellbeing and Support

Cyber Safety has been an ongoing focus at Jackson School as we always aim at supporting our students to be safe online and at school. This week we presented a session to our year 9/10 cohort about Cyber safety. We touched on some popular topics such as online bullying, sharing inappropriate content, and sending threatening harmful messages. We also shared different ways that they can remain safe and what actions they can take to protect themselves from online harm.

It is very important that we all work together as a team to keep our children safe from any online harm. We also have some great resources from the esafety commissioner that you can use as a support guide with helping your child/ren at home with any cyber safety issues. The links to resources that you might helpful are all listed below.

The esafety commissioner also has a link on their website (listed below) where you can report any online abuse that your child or perhaps your self are experiencing.  Alternatively, we are always happy to provide guidance and support and have a chat about any concerns you have regarding your child’s safety.
