Welcome to the New Port Dads Social Event

PMPS’ social dad’s group, Port Dads, is holding its long overdue first social event of the year to welcome new Port dads.

Where: The Limerick Arms Hotel (upstairs private room)

                364 Clarendon St, Sth Melbourne

When:  Friday 18 March

Time:    Anytime from 7pm

Feel free to come and meet other school dads in a relaxed, social environment. The kitchen will also be open for anyone that wants to eat.

Port Dads is a group that was initially started to bring local dads in the school community together, mainly due to a love of football. However, over time the group has grown and now provides a social and supportive environment to school dads and dads from the local area. Apart from running social events, the group raises funds for PMPS and other local groups (such as the Port Phillip Special School, PM Netball Club and the Colts junior football club), it runs BBQs at school events, organises the Dad’s Footy carnival every year and organises trips away within Victoria and interstate (with a Cairns trip last year). The group also provided an important local network for some men during COVID lockdowns. There is something for everyone and it is a great way to become a part of the PMPS community.
