NAPLAN is almost here! 

 

NAPLAN (National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy) is almost here!

 

 NAPLAN allows parents, caregivers, and educators to gain an insight on each students’ learning to see how they compare to the national average in literacy and numeracy. 

In addition to other assessment tools, NAPLAN is used to support teachers identify a students’ growth, and areas of strength and development. 

 

NAPLAN will take place on the following days: 

Reading 

Wednesday 15th March  

Writing 

Friday 17th March 

Language Conventions 

Monday 20th March 

Numeracy 

Wednesday 22nd March 

 

If your child is away on any of the days, we will conduct catch-up tests on Thursday 16th, Tuesday 21st, Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th and Monday 27th. 

 

On the day of each test, please make sure your child arrives promptly in the morning and they have eaten breakfast before arriving at school. 

 

Please remind your child to: 

Bring a water bottle and a book to read for when they are finished
