Emergency Care Plans and Medication Authorities

As we are nearing mid Term 1, we would like to remind you of the importance of returning all Emergency Care Plans and Medication Authorities in a timely manner.  It is a Department of Education and Training requirement that that all students  with Allergies, Asthma and Epilepsy have their Emergency Management Plans renewed annually and signed by their doctor even if there is no change in management.  All students requiring medication to be administered at school are also required by the Department to have their Medication Authority updated and signed by a doctor at the beginning of each school year.

For your students to go out on excursions with their class they must have a current management plan in place for their safety and timely care.

If anyone has misplaced the blank copies sent home last year for your renewals, please let us know and we can send out some new forms to you.
