Technology 

Year 8 Wood 

Year 8 students have been working on their phone amplifiers this term. Throughout this project students are able to create and facilitate their own learning through planning and managing their project. Each student creates a different design. Students, Thomas Booth and Ryan Li, have been making Among Us themed phone amplifiers. They have been excited to apply their practical skills in classes. 

Year 9 Wood 

Our Year 9 Wood students have been applying knowledge of how to create rebate and housing joints. Students have been learning about safe work practices, numeracy and using different tools. They have been loving this hands on project, it is fantastic to see them so engaged and looking forward to practical classes. Students each designed their own bookshelf using technical drawing methods and the design process at the beginning of term and have also utilised their numeracy skills and problem solving skills to develop their third angle orthogonal drawing.

In Food Technology our students are working our way around the world! 

We are currently in North America and this lesson had a focus on Mexican Cuisine. 

Chicken Enchiladas was a tasty and popular production lesson!
