Sacrament of Confirmation

Congratulations to all the Year 6 children who completed their initiation into the Catholic community by celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation last Sunday. The children were presented beautifully and I thank parents, families and sponsors for their preparation of the children.

Thank you to Bishop Mark Edwards and Fr John O'Connor for celebrating the sacrament for us.

Thank you also to the class teachers, Miss Chloe Pincho, Miss Stefanie Poropat and Mr Wil Marks for preparing the children to receive the sacrament.

I'd also like to acknowledge all staff and  Mr Hyde who attended the Mass and offered their support to the children. It is wonderful to have such great role models for the children of our school.

PFA News:

Mothers' Day Breakfast and Stall

On Friday, 10th May we will celebrate all the mothers, grandmothers and other special ladies in our lives with our annual Mothers' Day events.

From 7:30 am until 8:45 am breakfast will be served: bacon and egg rolls (some gluten free rolls will be available), fresh fruit and juices.

At 9:15 am the Mothers' Day Stall will be available for children to purchase gifts. Items are priced between $1 and $5.

We need assistance from some of the wonderful men in our community from 7:00 am to take charge of the barbecue and to help serve breakfast.

We also need volunteers to assist with the selling of gifts at the stall from 9:00 am to approximately 11:00 am.

If you can help on the day please respond via the CareMonkey notification.

Thank you

Belinda Miller

PFA President.
