OUR FAITH

PRAYER

Great and wonderful God, with awe and wonder we come to you. You are with each and every day, constantly by our side, working in us and through us, teaching, guiding, encouraging, and leading us to new experiences of your love.

Mighty and mysterious God, receive our worship in Jesus’ name.

Amen

We pray ...

We pray for... all mothers, for all candidates who are preparing to make their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist this term and for all who are unwell.

MOTHERS' DAY MASS

Thank you to all our parents and friends especially mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers who were able to attend our Mother’s Day Mass last Friday. What a wonderful and fitting way to say thank you to the special ladies in our lives. A special thank you to Fr Chris for presiding over the Mass and also a huge thank you to Year 4 who led the singing under the guidance of Mrs McGuirk. A special thank you to the staff and students who are always so supportive in helping set up and for going with the flow when Mass is celebrated at school.

FAMILY MASS

Term 2 - Family Mass Date

30th May - 9.30am St Nicholas Church (Year 2 and Year 4 hosting)

MAY- THE MONTH OF MARY

May is the month of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We can take the month of May as an opportunity to renew our own devotion to the Mother of God by dusting off our rosary beads and adding a few more Marian Prayers to our daily routine. Prayers such as Hail Mary, The Angelus, The Regina Caeli and The Memorae are some that can be included in your daily prayer as well as saying the Rosary.

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist preparations have begun. Notes to confirm Mass day and time have been sent home. Please ensure all outstanding monies and documents are submitted asap.

Mini Vinnies – Winter Appeal

Each year, as a school community, we try to support the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. We are encouraged to help the many disadvantaged people in our community by collecting donations of the following items: warm clothes, sheets or warm blankets. We do not expect you to go and buy new items, rather why not take the opportunity to sort out a few cupboards and send any unwanted items into school. Any items can be sent to school with your children where they will place them in the collection boxes. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
