Ella McCormick -

Bishop Joe Scholarship Recipient for 2021

Congratulations to Ella McCormick who is our Bishop Joe Scholarship recipient for 2021. Ella will travel to Sydney to the Burn Bright National Youth Leadership Camp in July.

When we submitted our application for Ella this is what we said about her:

"Ella is a quiet achiever whose work is always to a very high standard.  She has been described as a student who is committed, focused and always strives to remain on task. Ella has a dedicated approach to her studies.

Ella is a major contributor to her LM.  She assists by making the younger students feel welcome and is always willing to give others a hand. Ella is a role model to other students in Brigid House by participating in house activities, including the school Athletics Carnival where she offered to run in extra relays if necessary.

Ella is a very active member of our community who is always willing to put her hand up to assist others.  Ella volunteers her time to umpire netball for primary school competition which enables students to participate. Ella’s love of the creative arts has seen her singing at school events and more recently being involved in the High School Musical Production as one of the major characters, Kelsey."

For Ella to get the opportunity to attend the National Leadership Camp in Sydney would consolidate all that she has learnt thus far and extend her current leadership qualities.
