BHS Performing Arts Support Group

Ballarat High School has a long standing tradition of excellence in relation to music and performing arts.  We are very proud of our students and we encourage parents to attend our performances in 2021, with highlights including Cabaret/Movie Night and the School Production.

Throughout the year we work with staff and students to promote events, undertake fundraising activities and support the performing arts in all their gigs, productions, concerts and performances.

The Performing Arts Support Group has been established to assist staff and students engaged in Performing Arts, music and drama at Ballarat High School.

Our long term strategic goal is to raise funds to improve the performing arts spaces around the school, including the Robinson Centre theatre, band room, lighting and staging.

Do you have children in the Performing Arts Community at Ballarat High School and want to be more involved?  Do you have skills in applying for grants?  Would you be happy to sell tickets for events or run a fundraising activity?  Do you know a local business that might like to sponsor an event in 2021?   We would encourage you to consider joining the Performing Arts Support Group in 2021.

Our next Performing Arts Support Group meeting is on Thursday 22nd April at 5pm in the performing arts staff room located in the Robinson Centre.  All are welcome to attend.
