Remembrance Day

“In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.”

Every year at the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month— we pause to remember those men and women who have died or suffered in all wars, conflicts and peace operations.

Students across the College observed a small Remembrance Day service on the 11th November at 11am in the morning. Whilst the sun shone down, we paused for a moment to remember those who have come before us, and those in which have been affected by historical conflicts.
