State Athletics

After progressing through the house, division and region track and field carnivals Zoe Shaw, Connor McDonald, Jal Wishart and Gemma Johansen represented the school at the State championships. Zoe finished with the silver medal in the 14 years 200m and a very close 4th in the 100m sprint. Connor McDonald sprinted to a bronze medal in the 14 years 100m sprint and produced a monster jump to finish with a silver medal in the 14 years long jump. Gemma threw her way to bronze in the under 16 discuss. While, Jal Wishart produced a fantastic run to finish with a silver in the 13 years 800m run. Thanks to all participants in all levels of track and field this year. Looking forward to another great year in 2020.
