Prep/1 TD- Religious Education

The 1st November was All Saints Day, a special day where we celebrate and remember Saints in the Catholic Church. This week the preps and grades ones took a close look at Mother Teresa and her life. We learnt that she was a very holy woman, who became a nun and had dedicated her life to God. She then travelled to India where she spent her life feeding the poor, sick and hungry. After learning about Mother Teresa, we spent some time discussing her life and the wonderful things that she accomplished. To reflect on this learning, the students drew a picture and described some of the compassionate things that she did.
