This week, Preps impressed me with their writing skills in Italian.
For students from Prep to Grade 3, one of "end of term" traditions is to complete the PASSAPORTI books with literacy based activities in Italian.
Preps students worked on two pages, remembered a lot of the language vocabs learnt this year and completed their task with beautiful smiles! BRAVISSIMI/E!!
GRADE 5&6s
What does " acknowledgment of Country" mean?
Grade 5&6s have embarked on a special project about Indigenous inclusion, socio- lingo & cultural understanding. Students will be learning about the Wurundjeri people as the traditional owners of the land where Warrandyte is located.
Along with a focus on First Nation culture, students are learning to sign the "Acknowledgment of Country" in Auslan, which is the sign language for Australia. Fantastic work, ragazzi/e!
