BIG SUMMER READ
The BIG Summer Read is a special program that has been created in partnership with Public Libraries Victoria and Bolinda Borrowbox to enhance literacy in youth and teens during the school holidays. 01 December 2021 to 31 January 2022 Pre-registration is now open.
How it works
The aim is simple. Each young person will read 10 books and complete a series of challenges. By using an app called Beanstack they can record all of the books they read and the activities completed. Once they have read their 10 books and finish the activities they automatically go into the running for a major prize in their age categorgy.
