Deputy Principals' Report

In this together

Trying to be "Normal" in the "Abnormal"

Just when we think we are back into the swing of things we have to pivot again. Our hearts broke when were faced with yet another COVID related set back. It has been reassuring to have such a supportive community behind us right now. We know it is tough and the kids are definitely the ones losing out. Please rest assured that when we can get back to "normal" we will be doing everything we can to build these kids back up to thriving members of our community once again.

Home learning packs continue to be available at the office for those who are needing to isolate. Chrome Books are also available to pick up if needed. Please let us know if you require any.

If you or anyone in your family is experiencing anxiety around COVID there are plenty of agencies you can reach out to.

  • Kids Helpline. 1800 55 1800
  • Beyond Blue. 1300 22 4636
  • headspace. 1800 650 890

There is also an interesting article about returning to normal here that might be worth a read.

Take care and thanks again for your continued support and encouragement.
