Middle School Awards Afternoon

Last Thursday the Middle School celebrated students who achieved Academic Excellence in their Semester One studies. Students and their parents and carers were invited to attend an Awards Ceremony hosted at the College’s Performing Arts Centre. In order to qualify for an award, the students had demonstrated an outstanding academic commitment to their studies by attaining a final grade of 90% or more in a semester subject. Our hosts were Year 10 students, Keilah Dewar and Nathan Koll who did a wonderful job in introducing our speakers to the stage – as did fellow Year 10, Lucas Bramich, in working the audio and lights. Thank you to the Jazz Band and to Jacob Hennig for their music performances – which were highly engaging and professionally done, and to Ms Forster for being our chief photographer. Much appreciation also to the Principal Team, Mr. Edwards, Mr. Wickremesooriya, Sera and Sharon for their support in organising this event – it was lovely to share this occasion with the parent community.
