Parents and Friends Association
Year 10 Hospitality Parent Luncheon, June 2022.
Due to the ongoing situation with COVID and working with the school to create a safe environment for everyone, always, the P&F will continue to meet via Zoom for Term 3 and will revise for Term 4 when we are closer to the end of this term.
We have met this week and our next scheduled meeting is on Wednesday 7 September. All are welcome to join and a Zoom link will be posted in the next newsletter and on the parent Facebook page.
Rest assured that whilst we continue to be offsite we don't stop in our aim to enrich and enhance the lives of the community at JWACS. So far this year the P&F have funded the continuation of the School's Lego League, paid for the new School Honour Boards, continued to contribute to the Stephanie Alexander Garden project and helped fund the recent theatre and green room upgrades. We continue to help fund the Wollaston Cares program, and we delivered cookies to every staff member to boost morale amongst many other initiatives with exciting new ones to come.
Sadly at this stage any discos or large group events are on hold but we are hoping to plan a whole school welcome back event as soon as possible. Until then please let us know if you can think of anything we can do to support our amazing school community.

Our school is teaming up with Wonder Recycling Rewards to help reduce soft plastic waste in our environment and earn new sports equipment for our school.
We are calling on all students, parents and staff to start collecting bread bags and placing them in the collection bins at the ELC, Primary or Students Services Receptions. Any bag that has held bread is recyclable and will help the School earn points to redeem on new sports equipment.
