Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge - final 2 weeks

The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge for 2022 closes on 2nd September 2022. 

To complete the challenge, students in Prep-Year 2 need to read 30 books (including 20 books from the challenge booklist) and students in Years 3-6 must read 15 books (including 10 books from the challenge booklist) by 2nd September 2022 and enter the details on the challenge website.

We encourage all students to take part in the challenge.

Book Week

Book Week is being held on 20th - 26th August 2022. The theme for 2022 is 'Dreaming with eyes open'.

A number of special activities are planned at school including our annual book week dress-up day and parade which will take place on Friday, 26th August 2022 (note changed date from earlier advice).  The parade will take place at 9.15am. 

Please start thinking about some creative book character costume ideas! Students are encouraged to dress up on this day as their favourite book character or something that connects with the theme 'Dreaming with eyes open...' Your child’s costume may be as simple as having a mask or as extravagant as a whole ensemble! There are many quick and easy ideas available on the Internet as well as Pinterest! Parents and toddlers are also encouraged to dress up for the parade.
