Student Wellbeing
I really love Wellbeing Groups and I can tell the students love them too. We had some new activities happening in Wellbeing groups during Term 3.
We had Mr. Cirillo taking the role of Trivia Master. He put together a fun quiz for the students testing their general knowledge and pop culture references.
Is there no end to Geraldine’s collection of STEM activities? This time around the students needed to work out how empty toilet rolls could hold a whole range of weights.
In Sport, Mrs. Maher set up a multitude of interesting stations focusing on movement.
Miss Wills took to the kitchen to create tasty chips made of healthy vegetables such as eggplant, harvested from our Wellbeing Garden and sweet potato.
I took on Art this time around, making a fun cup and ball game with the students made from paper cups and string.
In other news, I am currently working on a Wellbeing Survey that I'm aiming to do with the students in Term 3. I am hoping to use the results to help make a better school where the students continue to feel safe and supported.
Kind regards
