PARENT HELPER PROGRAM

A big thank-you to everyone that has completed the Parent Helper Expression of Interest form.  If you are interested in becoming a classroom parent helper there is still time to register your interest by completing this form:  https://youengage.me/p/64895992955a190100078037

We will be holding a Parent Helper Information Session on Wednesday the 12th July at 8:50am in the staffroom. We invite all parents that are interested in becoming a classroom parent helper to attend the information session.  The session will run for approximately one hour.

The information session will include an induction into the Parent Helper Program and training in the types of activities and support that parents will be providing to students in the classroom.  All parents that are interested in becoming a parent helper are required to attend the Parent Helper Informtion Session.

Working with Children Check

All Parent Helpers in all schools require a Working with Children Check.  A Working with Children Check is FREE for all volunteers.  To apply for a Working with Children’s Check please visit the following website: https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children

A Working with Children Check can take up to 4 weeks to be processed however you will be able to commence volunteering as a Parent Helper if you have proof that you have lodged your Working with Children Check application.
